Voice typing

Shows the microphone button on the toolbar. Turn off to hide it.

How to use

  1. 1Open Settings › Typing.
  2. 2Turn on Voice typing (it comes on): the microphone shows up in the bar.
  3. 3Tap the microphone and speak: the panel shows it is listening.
  4. 4Tap the key when you finish: the text goes into the field.

What it does

Shows the microphone button on the keyboard toolbar. Tap it and speak: what you say becomes text in the field. Your voice turns into text on your phone and is never sent anywhere; Brams only uses the internet to download languages.

Off, the microphone disappears from the toolbar.

Privacy

The audio stays only in memory while it turns into text and is thrown away afterwards. Nothing is saved to a file.
