How to use
- 1Open Settings › Lights and effects.
- 2Drag the Brightness control to the right.
- 3Let go at the brightness you want.
- 4The letters on the keyboard light up.
What it does
Works like the backlight on a backlit keyboard. Turn it up and the letters get whiter with a soft glow; turn it down and they dim until they look switched off. The default is 15%.
The effect shows best in dark mode, as in the animation below.
