Mute in silent mode

On: no key sounds on silent or vibrate. Off: key sounds play even on silent or vibrate, at the media volume.

How to use

  1. 1Open Settings › Sound and vibration.
  2. 2Keep Mute in silent mode on.
  3. 3With the phone on silent, the keys stay quiet.
  4. 4Off, they play at the media volume.

What it does

Decides whether the keyboard follows the phone's silent mode. On, the default, with the phone on silent or vibrate the keys make no sound. Off, the keys play anyway, at the media volume.
