How to use
- 1Open Settings › Layout and keys.
- 2In Split keyboard, choose Automatic.
- 3Unfold the foldable or turn the tablet sideways: the keyboard splits by itself.
- 4Each half sits near one thumb.
What it does
Splits the keyboard into two halves, one for each thumb, with a gap in the middle. On Automatic, it splits by itself on an unfolded foldable and on a tablet in landscape. On Always, also on a large screen held upright. On Never, it stays whole.
On a regular phone, splitting is turned on separately, with the button next to the grabber, with the phone in landscape.
