Floating keyboard

The keyboard floats over the app. Drag the bar at the bottom to move it.

How to use

  1. 1Open Settings › Typing.
  2. 2Turn on Floating keyboard.
  3. 3The keyboard floats over the app.
  4. 4Drag the bar at the bottom to move it.

What it does

Lets the keyboard go from the edge of the screen: it gets smaller, floating over the app, and you drag the bar at the bottom to put it wherever you like.

Tablets only

This option shows on large screens. On a phone, use Floating when the phone is sideways.
