Replace on its own

Swaps the shortcut for the text when you press space.

How to use

  1. 1In Settings › Words and shortcuts › Shortcuts, write the shortcut and the text.
  2. 2Turn on Replace on its own and tap Add shortcut.
  3. 3Type the shortcut: the text shows up in the middle of the bar.
  4. 4Press space and the shortcut becomes the text.

What it does

A shortcut is a little word that turns into a longer text. With Replace on its own turned on, just type the shortcut and press space: Brams swaps it for the text.

With it off, the text only shows up as a suggestion on the bar, and you tap it if you want. In the list, tap a shortcut to switch between the two ways.
